Are you HIPAA compliant for medical and laboratory deliveries?
Yes. Our drivers are HIPAA- and OSHA-trained and handle protected health information and specimens under documented chain-of-custody, following OSHA bloodborne-pathogen protocols (29 CFR 1910.1030) for blood and biological materials.
Can you transport blood, biological specimens, and clinical-trial materials?
Yes. We routinely move blood, tissue, UN3373 Category B biological substances, pharmaceuticals, and clinical-trial cargo, with chain-of-custody documentation recorded at every stop. Drivers are trained in proper packaging, labeling, and temperature handling for life-sciences shipments.
Do you offer refrigerated and cold-chain transport?
Yes. Our temperature-controlled fleet covers chilled (2–8°C), frozen, dry-ice, and cryogenic shipments, with handling protocols for pharmaceuticals, lab specimens, and perishables. Cold-chain status is tracked and logged on the same dispatch platform that runs the rest of our fleet.
How is courier and freight pricing calculated?
Pricing is per shipment, based on distance, vehicle type, weight and dimensions, and service tier, with any fuel surcharge, wait time, or extra stops itemized on a single invoice. Can I track my shipment in real time?
Yes. Every shipment is tracked on Marvin's own dispatch software, with live driver GPS and timestamped proof-of-delivery photos at drop-off. What the driver records is what you see on your tracking link — a single, chain-of-custody-verified source of truth.
Do you handle airport pickups, AOG, and next-flight-out?
Yes. We run time-critical airport recovery and AOG (aircraft-on-ground) parts delivery at SFO, OAK, SJC, and SMF, plus LAX and DFW, using TSA-certified drivers. Because we're located minutes from major airports, we can collect freight as soon as it clears.
What size shipments and vehicle types can you handle?
Our fleet ranges from sedans and cargo/Sprinter vans for envelopes, documents, and specimens up to 12–15 ft and 24–26 ft box trucks with lift-gates and pallet jacks for freight. That covers everything from a single envelope to palletized freight, including white-glove inside delivery and assembly for high-value, fragile, or oversized items.
Are your drivers vetted and TSA-certified?
